Uniform

Emphasis is placed on correct and neat dress at all times.

Boys must travel to and from school in their full uniform, unless they have been playing sport in which case they may go home by car wearing a tracksuit. Shoes must be kept clean and polished. Garters must be worn with socks.

Hair should be styled to a length so that it does not come below the eyebrows at the front, or the shirt collar at the back. Boys must not come to school with dyed hair.

Physical education clothing is expected to be at school at all times. It comes on Monday and goes home on Friday. The borrowing of other boys’ clothing or belongings is not permitted.

Summer Uniform (Terms 1 and 4)
Short-sleeved white shirt, light grey shorts, school socks, black shoes or leather sandals, blazer, tie, white Medbury sunhat.

Winter Uniform (Terms 2 and 3)
Long-sleeved white shirt, heavy grey shorts, school socks, black shoes, school jersey, blazer, tie.

Sports Uniform
Medbury house shirt, black shorts, red Medbury polar fleece, black tracksuit pants, white socks, white shoes. At summer sporting fixtures a white Medbury sunhat, or a Medbury tennis cap for tennis players, must be worn. Boys must wear black speedo type swimming togs for all school swimming. Togs, towels and googles must be named.

After Sport
When a boy has been at sports practice until 4.30pm he may travel home in his full tracksuit if he is traveling by car. Those boys who walk or cycle home, or who are traveling on public transport, must wear their full school uniform.

School Uniform Shop
All new regulation uniform may be purchased through the School Uniform Shop. A selection of second hand uniforms are also available.

Monday afternoon 3.00p.m. to 4.00p.m. and Wednesday morning 8.00a.m. to 9.00a.m.

All clothing, including footwear, should be clearly and permanently named.

Medbury school bags and sports bags may be purchased at the uniform shop.

Lost Property
Parents are asked to encourage their sons to be responsible for the naming and locating of all of their personal property. Lost property is located either upstairs in the Junior block or upstairs in the Senior block. We endeavour to return all named property to its owner.

Selling Uniform Clothing
Demand for uniform in good condition is always high. If you have clothing to be sold, please have it washed or drycleaned, and leave it at the school office. Please attach a piece of paper with your name and address to each garment, to ensure that you receive payment for clothes sold. Items not named in this way will be accepted as donations. All clothing must be clean and in good condition to be offered for sale. No swimming togs or shoes please. A handling fee of 30% of the sale price is deducted. This money goes to supply books for the library and other school projects.
