Models club 2017 – YEARS 5 TO 8
This club is only available for boys who are in Years 5 to 8.
The Models Club provides an opportunity for boys to meet on a Tuesday and Thursday at lunchtime, to construct and paint a range of models of their choice. It is important to note that this should not conflict with sports practices or any other commitments they may have. Therefore, boys may attend one of the sessions or both.
We have had a range of models made over the years, from traditional planes, tanks, and vehicles to ‘Lord of the Rings’ figures and ‘War Hammer’ figures. A selection of paints, glues and cutting materials are available for boys to use, or they can bring their own. Nick Black (teacher) will be supervising this extra curricular activity, and will be assisting the boys and offering advice.
Your son will be required to bring his own model. The cost of this activity will be charged to your son’s school account.
It is a great chance for boys to further their craft skills and to put their practicality to good use.
Venue and Times:
Tuesday and Thursday - lunchtimes in the Junior Technology Room.
$28 will be charged to your son’s school account at the end of each term.
Please note that places in the Models Club are limited, and will be allocated on a strict ‘first in, first allocated’ basis.
