Medbury School Trust Board
The Medbury School Trust Board was founded and incorporated
in July 1955 when sufficient money had been raised
by the issue of debentures to enable it to purchase
the school from Mr Eric Chennells. The aims of the
Board were to purchase and administer the school,
a role that it still performs.
The Board has up to 10 members – three elected
by the Parents Association, three elected by the Old
Boys’ Association, and one elected by the Medbury
School Foundation. Three other members are elected
by the Board itself. Within the Board structure there
are various sub-committees. The Headmaster attends
each meeting.

Medbury School Parents' Association
The Medbury School Parents' Association was established
in 1975. Its main purposes are to encourage and formalise
the support of parents as a body for all school initiatives,
foster cooperation and understanding between school
and home, and to nominate three parent representatives
to the Medbury School Trust Board.
The Association has a very active committee and, with
the support of the wider parent body, is particularly
committed to raising funds for the ongoing development
of the school. The Association also provides parenting
books for the library, and runs parenting seminars
throughout the year on topical issues. The Association
is always keen to hear from parents willing to help
in any way.

Medbury School Foundation
The Medbury School Foundation was formed in 1983 to
establish an endowment fund to safeguard the future
of the School. It played a significant financial role
in the construction of the Teaching Centre in 1994
and has been much involved in the new hall/gymnasium
complex and the “Path to the Future” development
programme.
