Years 4 and 5 Science and Technology Evening

Held in The Medbury Centre on Thursday 6 May 2010

This year’s theme was ‘wind power’ and the boys were asked to design land yachts. After looking at some real machines and discussing the forces involved in making the yachts work, we asked the boys to construct their own models using coroflute, plastic wheels, skewers, straws, nylon material and lots of glue!

It was great to see so many boys and parents really enjoying themselves.
