2008 Senior School Drama Production

The title of this years production was 'Imagine'.  It brought together the talents of 150 students in the performing arts.  Our imagination enables us to escape into the continent of Africa and allows a spectacle of colour and sound to explode.  Each of the one-act plays examined the power of imagination and explored the boarders between reality and fiction.

Year 7 performed music and dance from 'The Lion King' with African Percussionist Sam Mabombo.

The full cast sun 'Circle of Life', 7FD performed 'I just can't wait to be King', 7M performed 'Be Prepared' and 7FR performed 'Hakuna Matata'.  The Year 7 Finale was 'Can you feel the Love Tonight'

8BL performed 'This is a Test'.  As the ticking clock reminds you, you have only 60 minutes to complete this oh-so-important predicture of your future!  The boys performed this with such entertainment and humour.

8BU entertained us with 'Those were the Days'.  The action takes place in a rest home where two residents relive their days as young boys at Medbury.  The books they used to read and treasure are remembered with vivid imaginations.
8G astonished us with their performance of 'Ernie's Incredible Illuniciations'.  Young Earnie had been worrying his mum and dad by his illuncinations - hullucinating about soldiers invading his home, his auntie taking on a fairground boxer, and many other amazing stories.
